AntOro Closes A Private Placement for $793,500

Montreal, February 6, 2004 – AntOro Resources Inc. is pleased to announce that it has completed a private placement for a total 2,645,000 common shares of its share capital at a price of $ 0.30 per share, for a gross proceeds of $ 793,000 with three (3) Quebec residents. The shares of this placement will be subject to transfer restrictions for a period of four (4) months from the date of their subscription until April 30, 2004.

The net proceeds of this placement will be added to AntOro’s working capital and will be used to acquire mineral properties.
