Release of Escrowed Securities

Montreal, January 15, 2004 – AntOro Resources Inc. announces that, according to release conditions provided by the new Escrow Agreement entered into on June 19, 2003 pursuant to the 375,000 common shares of the Corporation held by Mr. François C. Desrosiers, an additional amount of 56,250 common shares of the Corporation, which represents 15% of the escrowed securities, will be released on February 18, 2004. The above mentioned release is made pursuant to the new release conditions approved by Canadian Security Authorities. On August 18, 2003, a first tranche of 37,500 common shares of the Corporation was released on August 18, 2003.

The amount of shares being released must not be superior to 10% of the total aggregate amount of issued and outstanding shares of the Corporation at the time of release; and each share release must be proportional.
