AntOro Acquires A Mining Property in Quebec

Montreal, April 21, 2004 – AntOro Resources Inc. is pleased to announce the acquisition of the "Hebert" property which is composed of 40 map designated mining claims covering an area of approximately 2,254 hectares and located in the Lespinay Township in Quebec. The property has been acquired from Lucille Primeau in exchange of the issuance of 900,000 treasury shares and the payment of the sum of $20,000.

The showing # 7515-78-16 which resulted from diamond drilling, uncovered grades of 4 g/t Au, 14% Cu and 142 g/t Ag over 0.04 m. This mineralization shows similarities with other volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) showings found along the Urban Syncline, which strikes South-West / North-East. Orogenic gold showings were also uncovered in the Urban Deformation Zone which has an East – West strike. The Hébert property is located within the Urban Deformation Zone and is at the Northeastern extension of the Urban Syncline.

The Urban-Barry belt has been the focus of extensive exploration efforts in the past year by companies such as Beaufield Consolidated Resources (“BFD”), Goldhawk Resources (“CGK”) and the Freewest (“FWR”) / Murgor (“MUG”) joint-venture.

The Urban Deformation Zone is located approximately 70 km south-east of Desmaraisville and covers approximately 200 km2. This regional shear structure has a width of 1 to 4 km and a length of 80 km following an East-West strike. The property’s geology is composed of felsic tuffs, volcanoclastics, lithic wackes and mafic intrusives of the Freeman Member, Urban Group and the intermediate tuf accompanied with basaltic and andesitic flows of the Macho Formation; these two units are separated by the Milner Fault. The property’s geology is also affected by the St-Cyr Fault on it’s western boundary and by the Concession Fault on it’s eastern boundary.
