Lac des Iles Property: Exploration Update

Montreal, March 3, 2005 - AntOro Resources Inc. wishes to bring its shareholders up to date with respect to its exploration activities on the Lac-des-Iles property. Located 2 km from North American Palladium’s palladium mine, north of Thunder Bay, Ontario, the property consists of sixteen claim blocks covering approximately 2,080 hectares.

During summer 2004, extensive work was undertaken on the existing grid following results obtained from the previously carried out IP (Induced Polarization) and geochemical soil surveys. MMI soil samples were also collected immediately above the geochemical and IP anomalies surveys identified during the summer of 2003.

The surface exploration team collected 276 soil samples which were sent for laboratory testing. Results are presently pending. The team also collected an additional 1,312 soil samples in order to cover the extensions of the original grid. Results of this survey, when reviewed together with those of the 2002 survey, will allow the Corporation to better understand the local geology.

Following receipt and interpretation of the geochemical survey results, the Corporation intends to undertake drilling on the most promising geophysical and geochemical anomalies. AntOro will keep its investors abreast of developments via press release when final results are received.

The Corporation also wishes to announce the resignation of Dr. Grant Cool as Director and Chairman of Board of Directors. Dr. Cool wishes to devote more time to his personal business undertakings. AntOro extends its warmest thanks to Dr. Cool for his efforts over the last few years and wishes him all the best in his future endeavours.

Mr. Benoît Violette, Geo., will be replacing Dr. Cool on the Board of Directors. Mr. Violette is a consulting geologist with extensive field experience and, over the last decade, has acted as Director on the Boards of several junior exploration companies.
