Summer 2004: Line-cutting and Induced Polarization survey, channel sampling
The Serpenphior Property is located within the southern portion of the Gaspˆ© Peninsula, north of the village of St-Jogues. The properties cover 181.76 hectares distributed on 6 map-designated claims (CDC’Äôs). Access to the property can is available year-round by using a combination of well-maintained logging roads in the summer time and by snowmobile during the winter time.
This property was previously explored for gold and was extensivelly by the past title-holder that discovered a few interesting gold, copper, chromium and platinum-group metals showings. The gold and copper mineralisations are confined within the carbonitized ophiolitic mˆ©lange (Listwaenites) that provides excellent geochemical settings for the concentrations of such metals.
Geology of the Serpenphior project is composed an ophiolitic mˆ©lange thrusted unto Silurian sediments.
The company wishes to pursue it’Äôs exploration efforts with a comprehensive diamond-drilling campaign targeting the Listwaenites in order to define resources estimates for copper and gold mineralisations.
